يمثل سرد الهوية و الاحتفاء بالخصوصية الجزائرية ملمحا بارزا يسم عددا من المتون الروائية (الجزائرية)،و يجعل منها هوية ممتدة تشتبك في رحابها مرجعيات متنوعة: فنية و فكرية و ثقافية، تتصل في مجملها بقيم تأصيل الذات وتجذير كيانها. و قد تكون رواية "البحث عن العظام" للطاهر جاووت إحدى أهم النصوص الروائية التي اشتغلت على إشكالية الهوية الجزائرية و أبانت عن أهمية السرد في رفد وصياغة مختلف عناصرها وتسخير ما تتوفر عليه من إمكانات جمالية في إعادة ترتيب العلاقة مع الذات والآخر، فشكلت بذلك إضافة نوعية في مجال الرواية الجزائرية. 

Both the identity citing and the great importance given to the Algerian’s speciality gave a good impacton many Algerian Novels and made of it a deep identity in which there are different arts , cultural and intellectual views linked all with the norms and rooted its structure.The Novel "Searching for the Bones " ,TaherDjaout , may be one of the most important Novels that worked on the problematic of the Algerian Identity and showed the importance of narrating especially in feeding and constructing its different elements and exploiting all its aesthetic in the classification of the relationship with the ego and the other. Thus, it establised an addition in the field of the Algerian Novels.
